Stainless Steel Bulk Milk Cooler

The most important part of a collecting centre of milk is the Bulk Milk Cooler (BMC). When the milk is extracted, it is at around 37C. If the milk continues to remain at room temperature after extraction, bacterial growth will affect the quality of the milk. The BMC is meant to cool the milk from 37C to 4C in a prescribed time. The BMC is available in different shapes and sizes depending on the amount of milk to be cooled and the system of cooling.

Cheese Vat

The cheesemaking vats are of three types: Round Oblong Double O. These vats are ideal for pressed cheeses, Cheddar and some soft cheeses. In the double O vat the heat exchange is from the surrounding water jacket which increases the surface area in contact with the product. Its shape also allows the entire contents to be cut in one turn of the cutter. With addition of the optional lid milk pasteurisation is possible. The oblong vat facilitates pre-pressing of the curd avoiding losses into whey container.
